Belongings and Starting Wealth

Each character has a certain amount of starting wealth, either in cash or in belongings. The amount varies depending on the circumstances of the character and his or her history.

Wealth is rarely all cash. Much of the wealth is in the form of clothes, tools, weapons and equipment, some of which you start with

If you are an Escaped Transported Criminal or Runaway Servant, Unskilled Laborer or Escaped Slave.

Carpenter, Cooper, Wainwright = Assorted wood working tools, saws, hammers, chisels etc in wooden tool box.

Cobbler, Leather Worker, Seamstress, Tailor = Assorted needles, scissors, awls, punches, thimbles etc. in a leather or canvas carry bag.

Gunsmith, Silversmith, Blacksmith = Assorted hammers, files, tongs, chisels, wrenches etc in a wooden tool box.

Mason or Stonecutter = assorted hammers, chisels wedges etc in Canvas carry bag
