These items are permenant and are not usually tuned to an individual, (though they can be,) and as a result they can be passed from person to person for the benefit they bestow.  They are not harmed by being seen or handled by others.
The Paquet-Congo is often worn around the neck or tied to the arm or around the forehead in a manner similar to a phylactory.

In Game Terms the Paquet-Congo can do any ONE of the following.

Enhance Basic Health

 to Resist Disease

 to Resist Poison

 to Resist Heat Stroke

Bestow (while worn) the positive Traits of:

Healthy.

Rapid Healer.

Resistant to Pain.

Multiple Paquet-Congos, including multiples that do the same thing, may be worn. The effects MAY cumulative.

Paquet-Congo worn on head

Resquardos - A type of  Paquet-Congo that COMPLETELYprotects from poisons, venoms, diseaes, Wanga and curses.  It has a tiny carved sword sewn into the pouch.  The sword will break when the resquardo shields its owner from the threat.  It is a ONE USE item and should be destroyed after its potency has been consumed.  The components can be used to create a poppet attuned to the wearer.

Multiple  Resquardos including multiples that do the same thing, may be worn.   HOWEVER, the effects are NOT cumulative.  Only one of the duplicate Resquardos will be consumed per incident.
